Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips is a recent convert to the masterful
sounds of Ester Drang. He purchased a cd after the Drang recently
opened for Wheat. It's rumored that they earned a notch in their guitar
for the evening. Ester Drang played several shows in the midwest,
overcoming car problems to make many of the shows, including the Fireside
Bowl in Chicago. Thanks to everyone who came out in support of the
band. Ester Drang collaborated with members of Unwed Sailor and Lasso

set to be a special fall split cdep between Ester Drang and Unwed

their good friends in Lasso. More details on a release date soon.
