The Trouble with Sweeney have returned from an extensive tour with Three Gut Record's Royal City. Thanks to everyone who watched them play on the tour and supported them. This summer,the Trouble will be playing several shows in the area and are planning for more touring in the fall. In addition, The Trouble with Sweeney have been invited to play at CMJ this year in NYC. More details about their showcase date, time, and location will be given in the near future.

Denison Witmer's long-awaited full-length, of joy & sorrow, is now out. The ten song release features an interactive portion with two live videos. of joy & sorrow will be available from stores in September, but exclusively from Denison and Burnt Toast Vinyl until then. The first 50 on-line orders will receive a free silk screened poster. There will be 3 August cd release parties in the Lancaster and Philadelphia areas in support of the record. Also, extensive plans are being made for late summer/early autumn touring. If you would like to see Denison in your area, feel free to contact us.

Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips is a recent convert to the masterful sounds of Ester Drang. He purchased a cd after the Drang recently opened for Wheat. It's rumored that they earned a notch in their guitar for the evening. Ester Drang played several shows in the midwest, overcoming car problems to make many of the shows, including the Fireside Bowl in Chicago. Thanks to everyone who came out in support of the band. Ester Drang collaborated with members of Unwed Sailor and Lasso to record a side project, Circle of Birds. The project was originally set to be a special fall split cdep between Ester Drang and Unwed Sailor, but the project grew into something more and different, incorporating their good friends in Lasso. More details on a release date soon. More touring is planned for late summer and early fall, potentially with Unwed Sailor.

Huntington's Rock and Roll Habits for the New Wave has been released. This cd features many older Huntington's songs updated and re-recorded. In addition, there are two cover songs previously unavailable on any Huntingtons release. The band will be playing scattered dates in the area this summer.

All American Radio have finished the recording and mixing of their full-length album, Fragments Of. This long awaited full-length is the follow up to their debut split release, Instruments and Landscapes with Somerset from 1999. Mastering and graphic design will take place soon in anticipation for an August/September release. Extensive touring is planned in conjuction with the cd release.

Scientific's From the Nest of Idea has been repressed with the 3 songs from the 7" "How Will You See Yourself in the Next Twenty-Four Hours" added. The band will be recording with David Bazaan the next two weeks and will be doing some limited live appearances prior to the release of their next record.

Everything has been sent off for the new Jetenderpaul 7" " A Casualty Too Serious Too Afford" which will be released on Burnt Toast Vinyl and Hype City Records (Norway). Much discussion was made on format and the 7" is the winner. Look for this in August. Jetenderpaul has been invited to play CMJ in NYC this year, also. More details about their showcase date, time, and location will be given in the near future. There is much excitement for the opportunity to see the increasingly rare live show.

Recording and mixing is complete for Damien Jurado's Four Songs one sided LP for Burnt Toast Vinyl. The LP ironically includes four songs on the first side, with the reverse being an etching featuring a short story by Adam Voith. Mastering and pressing will take place soon for an August release.

A new website for btv from Andy Bruntel is in the works for a late summer debut. Andy operates the site www.into-the-wilderness.com and is now working with designer and video/filmmaker Mike Mills.
